Tree Work Planned at Palmetto Commons On Saturday, September 26, a contractor will be onsite at the Palmetto Commons parking lot to do tree work and cleanup. Barricades will be in place around the work area. Temporary handicapped accessible parking spaces will be designated for use until the project is complete.

Run for a Neighborhood Representative or Alternate Neighborhood Representative Position Residents interested in running for Neighborhood Representative (NR) or Alternate Neighborhood Representative (ANR) in the Community Election must fill out an application packet. Thirty-four neighborhoods will vote for an NR and ANR. Applications are available on the Election webpage of the community website and hard copies are available at Palmetto Commons and Spanish Moss Hall. Applications must be returned to Palmetto Commons by Wednesday, October 7 at 3 p.m.

Annual Resident Information Update – Coming to Your Inbox for September Birthdays The annual Resident Information Update is hitting inboxes now, and Resident Services staff appreciates all the responses received so far. Please check your inbox. If your birthday is in September and you have not received the email, please check your spam or junk folder. If staff is unable to reach you by email, a copy of the request will be mailed to the mailing address on file with the Association.

North Gate Road Resurfacing Project Road resurfacing at the North Gate is starting this evening due to weather delays. The project is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting. Traffic control personnel and signage will be in place throughout the project.

The exit gate will be in the upright position from 7 a.m.–11 p.m. while Security personnel are on duty. After hours, please proceed with caution when approaching the exit gate at a slower rate of speed. The gates will be operating at a much slower opening pace as construction is taking place. Palmetto Electric Fiber Optics Upgrade Palmetto Electric is working on a communication fiber optics upgrade installation project. The objective is to increase coverage and reliability. Click here for more information.
