Golf Course Update – Okatie Creek Golf Course Fully Reopens July 27 Okatie Creek Golf Course will fully reopen on Monday, July 27, marking an important milestone in the recovery of the golf course. Since transitioning to temporary greens, turf health and playing conditions have continued to improve. Based on ongoing agronomic evaluations and course performance, Okatie Creek Golf Course is now ready to welcome golfers back to a full-course experience.

Common Area Treatments The Greenery will apply a pest treatment to all common areas on Monday, July 27. Residents and pets should remain off all treated areas for 48 hours. Signs will be posted in treated areas.
August Group Fitness Class Registration Registration for August group fitness classes will open on Tuesday, July 28 at the following times:
•Noon for classes at Hidden Cypress Fitness Center and the Breakwater Fitness Collective
•3 p.m. for classes at the Lakehouse and Purrysburg Fitness Centers

Wetland Stabilization Project Work will be completed to address erosion where the wetland and road shoulder meet at the left side of Bishop Street near Landing Lane. The project is expected to last Tuesday, July 28 through Friday, July 31, weather permitting. Please use caution when driving near the work area.
Sun City Community Election – Candidate Application Packets Available Now The 2026 Sun City Community Election will be held November 2–6. Consider serving your community by running for election! Candidate application packets for the Board of Directors position, and Neighborhood Representative (NR) and Alternate Neighborhood Representative (ANR) positions are available now online at the Sun City Election webpage. Hard copies are available at Palmetto Commons and Spanish Moss Hall in Sun City West.
Application Deadlines • Board member position: Friday, August 7 at 3 p.m. at Palmetto Commons • NR/ANR positions: Wednesday, October 7 at 3 p.m. at Palmetto Commons
