Pool Improvements Continue As part of the planned pool equipment upgrade project, the Riverbend pool was drained to allow for equipment replacement, and a full inspection of the pool surface was completed. During that inspection, it was determined that the pool's plaster surface has reached the end of its useful life and should be replaced while the pool is already out of service.
While this additional work will extend the original project schedule, completing it now is the most efficient and cost-effective approach. The improvement has been approved by the Board of Directors and will be funded through reserve expenditures.
The Riverbend outdoor pool is now tentatively scheduled to reopen during the week of October 9.
We appreciate your patience as these important improvements are completed. Addressing the plaster replacement will help prevent future disruptions, extend the life of the pool and provide residents with a better overall experience. Updates will continue to be shared as the project progresses. Click here for more information.
Nature Trail Phones There are currently three phones located along the Nature Trail at stations 4, 8 and 12. Due to aging copper lines and connectivity issues, the IT Department is looking into other options and will be removing the current phones. Residents are advised to carry their cell phones and/or walk with partners on the trail. Reminder that the Nature Trail access closes at sundown for resident safety.
September is Stop Sign Safety Month The Board of Directors continues to seek ways to remind residents, guests and vendors to drive safely and carefully for the well-being of everyone within the community. To stress the importance of making a complete stop at stop signs throughout Sun City, the Board has designated September as "Stop Sign Safety Month." Click here for more information.
