Pool Improvements Underway Barataria outdoor pool will be closed through Sunday, August 23 for work to be completed. During this time, the children's pool hours originally scheduled for Barataria will be relocated to Riverbend pool. Click here for more information.
Common Area Treatment Brightview will apply fertilizer to common areas in Sun City West on Friday, August 14. Residents and pets should remain off all treated areas for 48 hours. Signs will be posted in treated areas.
Resident Services Closure Notice To support ongoing staff development and training, the Resident Services Department located in Palmetto Commons will be closed on Wednesday, August 19 from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. Click here to see the affected services.Breakwater Indoor Courts Schedule The indoor courts at The Breakwater Fitness Collective will be closed on Wednesday, August 19 from 4–6 p.m. for an event with Pulte. Golf Advisory Committee Meeting Correction The next Golf Advisory Committee (GAC) meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 18 at 3 p.m. is an executive session only. Residents will not be invited to attend or participate as a result.Sidewalk Restructuring on Lake Somerset Drive Common Area Maintenance is restructuring a section of walking path from Lake Somerset Drive to the existing concrete walkway along Lake Somerset. The project will include demolition of existing worn and damaged asphalt and will be replaced with concrete. Concrete is more cost efficient to repair and provides a cooler walking surface during the summer heat. This project will conclude by the end of the week, weather permitting. Please use caution while in the area.Utility Locations on Del Webb Blvd Utility locations are being identified at the Del Webb Boulevard and Hwy. 170 intersection in advance of a drainage project at inbound and outbound lanes. Drains and pipes will be installed to facilitate rainwater runoff and alleviate sustained ponding. The project will commence later this week and is weather dependent. There will be little to no impact to traffic. Please use caution while in the area.Modification Application Requirements The Modification Department has not been able to process many modification applications through the AAM portal due to missing information. Corrigo helps staff better track, assign and manage resident requests, and the information provided when a ticket is submitted plays an important role in helping staff respond quickly and accurately.
